How It Works

Thank you for coming to Dooz! Here are a few important things for you to know as a user and supporter of our campaigns.

Dooz is a PRE-ORDER system, and slightly different than a crowdfunding platform.

The most important things to know are:

By making a pre-order today purchase today your deposit reserves a copy of a collectible campaign item before its official release.

Your card will be charged immediately at the time of checkout for the amount of the pre-order deposit. After deducting the pre-order deposit amount, your card will be charged for the remaining purchase balance once the campaign items are ready for shipment.

There is no campaign funding goal. Publishers, writers and artists who host their campaigns on Dooz understand that they will be making and delivering their product regardless of how much money is raised for it.

While we usually have a fixed window for campaigns, we can always extend them or re-open them as needed for the benefit of the supporters or the publishers, writers and artists running campaigns.

All products will be delivered to supporters in a timely manner, with a timeline provided on each campaign page coupled with communication and updates to backers throughout the process. Need some info on a particular project? E-mail us at hello@wearezoop.com

Because of the nature of this model, we do not offer refunds for pre-order deposits. Once products go into production, refunds are no longer available. However, under extenuating circumstances, please feel free to reach out to us at hello@wearezoop.com and we'll do our best to accommodate any requests.

Store/ Retail Purchases

The Store (link in header) operates just like any other online retailer. Once you place an order, it will be prepped for delivery within days, as usual. This is an instant purchase, and instant charge on your payment method.

The majority of product is stored in Zoop's warehouse, where we and our partners handle fulfillment. Some product is with the individual publishers, writers and artists, who will sometimes be handling the instant fulfillment on their own.
